1967 Fairlane conversion from 289 to FE.

I am converting a 1967 Fairlane from 289 to 390 and have decided to retain my column shift automatic. Does anyone know what parts are different from 289 C4 to FE C6? Better yet does anyone have a C6 parts car with the linkage from base of column to transmission that they would sell?

Heres a pic of the H code FAKEWCODE.
My 1967 Fairlane S code GT gets first dibs on parts, but
I'm pretty sure I won't need the column shift arms to the C6.

Everything else is different. I can't see the arms being the same.
Although I can't say for certain.
I have tried your email a few times now and I keep getting kicked back. It is not
necessarily your email. I have been under full scale assault by an evil "Blackhole" and
my really kool 390fairlane@ address my have to be retired.

I believe this to be a stock unmolested setup.

Thanks for posting pictures here I am pretty computer illiterate and can't tell if the problem is on my end. It is hard to tell but I think it is different than my C4 stuff. I need to look at my car more closely to see if it will even work with Crites headers. I will get back to you. What would you want for everything from base of column to transmission?

I am now thinking even the accelerator pedal bracketry is different so I might need that as well.

I've fooled with my share of C-4's and C-6's but something rings a bell that the shift linkages do differ. Perhaps the 'Net 54 site will help.
