This white stuff is getting really old....
« on: February 07, 2014, 02:04:00 PM »
And putting a HUGE damper on my FE Reunion plans >:(

Two months to get a lot of work done on my car, install an all new front and rear suspension, reinstall the engine, rebuild the toploader.....update the '70 F-350 with some brake work, tune-up, replace shocks, new tires and front rims (two piece) and get it ready for a long haul.....replace wiring, bed boards and tires and add tie-downs on the trailer....all before mid April.

Endless snowfalls, temps averaging in the teens to negatives and no end in sight.....this is getting to be a bummer. At this rate I won't make it in time. Because all my time and resources have gone into rebuilding the house since I bought it 7 years ago, my new garage doesn't have insulation or heat yet, so I can't get anything done in these temps. It's really starting to bum me out.

My F-350.....buried under an avalanche of snow.

Your place looks like my place, right down to the unheated garage, piles of unyielding snow and frickin' freezin' cold  >:(  My car is sitting in a car bag to keep the rodents out.  Gotta pull and rebuild the engine, fix some fender damage and look to changing out the transmission. Problem is, right now if I get under the car I'll probably freeze to the floor.  I gunning to get to Beaver Springs, even if it's only as a spectator.  Sign me another victim of global warming...........

Hang in there guys. We gotta be on the downhill slide. Up here in North Dakota temps are a little colder but little to no snow. Hey cj shaker, wondering if you're gonna go with your Cal track set up? I did that and got the moroso front springs as well. You can lift the front up with one arm to full travel no prob.

Yep, it's ordered and was scheduled to be delivered today....but checking shipping, it's sitting 100 miles from me delayed by snow, after traveling cross country from CA  ::)

Got the entire package, mono-leafs, bars, front and rear shocks. I was thinking about the Moroso front springs but was wondering if they may be a bit too bouncy on the street. I don't want to lose all ability of street driving. Gotta keep the local law enforcement honest ya know ;)
