I want to paint my 390 factory colors , what should they be my car is 62 Galaxie just tryn to make it look factory as I can....

1962 ford Galaxie 390 .030 Ross pistons,comp cam,edelbrock heads,tremec 3550 , 9" with 4:10 gears.....it's my idea of therapy , I'm always looking for vintage Stewart Warner gauges with curved glass and the crecent pointer

Try

. It has sections on the 390 and the 406. The long block is painted black and the valve covers & air cleaner are painted different colors according to the engine size. For example in '62 the 390 covers and air cleaner were painted argent silver.
