Hurst shifter boot compatability 1966 Cyclone
« on: August 15, 2026, 03:24:49 PM »
Car is 1966 Cyclone, shifter is Hurst comp plus. I now have the correct tunnel hump from Auto Metal Direct. Will the Hurst shifter boot be to long and wide to work with the factory console shifter bezel opening, or is the opening too small? If the opening is too small, can it be trimmed to fit without looking hacked up? All responses will be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck

If you are not a FCA member it would be a good move to join.
A search of the 66-67 group’s technical section might provide your answer.
