I will be finishing a car with a bare painted floor for a race car style interior.
In this case the color will be black if that color presents certain options.
What paint do you recommend for this interior floor?
Durability is the most important aspect.
Thanks, and have a great day.

I have painted my engine compartment a bunch of times and the last time I did it I came across a paint I wanted to try. It’s VHT rollbar and chassis paint. It’s durable and just the right amount of shine. It’s really a satin but with a little shine. Being in the interior you don’t want a gleam if the sun hits it and blinds you. POR 15 would be more durable but way to shiny. Get a can try it in a spot you don’t like it you can paint over it.

Delfleet essential is a single stage made by PPG. I used it under my hood on my Galaxie. Its a very durable single stage black paint. Takes a few days to fully dry but once dry its tough. Its also not super shinny , which helps in the interior, its not a flat either.

I'd look at a bedliner product like Raptor by UPOL.  can spray it with a cheap Shutz gun (often included) or roll it on.  Also look at 3M Body Schutz, or Rocker Schutz, these would also offer a certain degree of sound deadening.

I used Monst'a liner on the floor of my '65 Comet. They have a lot of different color options and it's a roll on application.
Pretty easy installation and not as messy as spray on.
It's been a couple of years now and it still looks good.
