Roller Rocker Arm Assemblies
« on: March 30, 2026, 05:21:36 PM »
Next question .
Who makes the best FE roller rocker assemblies , stands , shafts and adjustable rockers.
Back in the day I remember pretty much the only ones made were the Harland and Sharps , now it seems that there are several choices some even including adjustable pushrods for measuring.
What is the preferred set up to use on Trick Flow heads with a hydraulic roller cam ?

The TFS heads for the FE were designed around the Harland Sharp rockers.  I would recommend those.

The last one I built with TFS heads I used PoP stands milled to the correct height for the TFS heads (have to email or call Doug to order - they aren't on the website I don't think) with PoP shafts, Morel lifters, Brent's rocker arms and I think Smith Bros pushrods. As luck would have it, Doug hit the stand height out of the box and I didn't have to shim them. Any quality rocker components are fine, just double check the set up - some will require more work than others to dial in.

The "Best" FE roller  rockers would be either the Jesel or T&D shaft rockers. They are expensive, and totally un necessary for a hydraulic cam.

Poor choice of word for me , instead of "best" I probably should have said most suitable or best all around .
I think Brent may have answered the question for me .
Thanks to all for the replys.
