Valve cover leak
« on: March 09, 2026, 10:18:25 AM »
Trying to seal jays clear valve cover with not much luck. One is holding up but one keeps giving me trouble
Would like to know the best type of gaskets and  if I should use any sealer as well thanks. Keith

Make sure the aluminum frame is still flat and not twisted.  I always use the Felpro cork gaskets on mine, glued to the valve cover rail on the head and intake, with a dab of sealer at the junctions between head and intake.  They should seal up fine that way.
