Starliner windshield

My 61 needs a windshield  They are available but they all have that dark shading band on the top  I HATE the looks of that on a 60s car.. Anyone know a supplier that would have a clear one

In 2012 I replaced the windshield in my '62 Galaxie wagon and it was really difficult to find a supplier.  Evan and Kathy Wolfe of Vintage Auto Glass in Billings Montana sold me the new clear one.  Their website doesn't come up any longer, but I bet some google'ing and a few phone calls could track down the status of that business now.

Yes  I did try Auto City  They have them but only with the wretched shading band. Unable or unwilling to special order one without it..

This place shows a clear option for $535 plus $390 shipping to a commercial address.  For an additional $390 you can get a NOS one (clear).

Haven't used them; just passing it on.  Page says they are in GA.

Hey  thanks for that tip   I guess if you want something hard to find you have to pay.  that is 3x what auto city wants for that shaded thing
