« on: September 08, 2013, 04:02:46 PM »
Hi I have for sale a m/t cross ram intake for sale. As i am in Australia there is not to much of this kind of stuff for sale here. I have have all the parts needed to put it straight on. Two 4 barrel matching number carbs - carb spacers & hats - rocker covers - carb linkages - dizzy & it spacer. Its in amazing condition for its age. Has not been on a car since the very early 70s. Looking to sell but don't know what it is worth? Any help on this would be great. Cheers Kempy

Hi Kempy, can't help much with the value of the set up, but it sure looks cool. Where about are you? I'm in Perth.

Nothing I really need to add to my collection of FE stuff, but always interested in what's around. What else do you have to sell?

Hey Kempy, I'll take that POS off your hands and even pay shipping.....................   ;)

Really a cool setup man, you could always put the whole thing on evil bay with a high reserve to see what it'll go for.  On this side of the pond with the whole setup you described I bet it would go for a couple of grand.

With used carbs and all the components I'd think that intake setup would go for around $1400.  Its a really cool looking manifold, but not the greatest for power, based on my testing.  The fact that you have all the parts for it, like the distributor and spacer, is important.  They will sometimes come up for sale without that stuff, and of course they are quite a bit less valuable that way.
