Hello, does anyone know of a place that sells only the screen (filter or screen material) for Moroso pickups? I have an old pickup that had a Moroso screen installed — but the screen is torn and I want to replace it. The problem that I have is that I don’t know how it got torn in the first place. A few months ago, the engine broke a metal bar (possibly a tie rod or a part attached to the hood), and I suspect that may have something to do with it. But I’m not sure what mechanism caused the screen to get damaged like that — since I didn’t see any obvious signs of damage at the time. I’d really like to know if the tear was caused by impact, heat, or prolonged vibration? And if anyone knows of a place that can buy the screen material separately — rather than a whole new set — please let me know. Thanks.
