Previous FE Cars:   1965 Ford Galaxie 390/4spd then upgraded to 427 sideoiler
1970 Maverick 427 sideoiler.  X Pro Stock Car, previous owner had a cammer in it but that was beyond my budget
Current build in progress 1964 Thunderbolt Clone

Only 3 hours to go on the auction. Unfortunately seems like the build documentation has been misplaced, and the seller doesn’t seem to know much about it. It might sell reasonably, since bidders seem nervous. We’ll see.

I just dont get it... How on earth could someone pay that much for an engine they know absolutely nothing about internally...

A friend of mine showed me that this particular 427 SOHC sold for considerably more at the Mecum auction this past winter. I can’t seem to access the selling price, but it was over $100K.

    Though of curiosity, but I just don't think venues such as "MECUM" or B.A.T. actually establish an "accurate" market value of something.   :-\

late to post but it sold for $123,900 at mecum previously.
