Want to buy a known good block
« on: February 28, 2025, 12:01:35 PM »
I want to buy a block that has been manafluxed, sonic mapped, and pressure tested. I know that is asking a lot. However, I'm tired of driving many miles to look at "good" blocks and coming home empty. A 428 would be nice but, a 390 is fine too. If I have unrealistic expectations, please tell me so and point me to the "next best" sources. I can't buy parts until I know I have a good block. Thanks in advance for any input on the matter. Chuck

If I were you I would take a look in the classified section at Mark’s 428 long block he just listed a day or so ago. Mark is a great guy to deal with and meticulous, so I can assure you it is a great deal.
