Survival heads
« on: December 12, 2024, 03:36:36 PM »
Has anyone reading this recently ordered and received Barry's new FElony head bare castings? My concern is not with the heads but with timely delivery. I am aware that Barry can be difficult to contact at times due to a busy schedule. Don't want to sit around wondering if they will ever show up. Is personal pickup an option?

I think he recently posted that he’s sold out and wasn’t planning to be restocking soon.

I am out of stock.
I have two or three sets left that I am working on for customers who had already placed orders.
These castings were usable, but needed extra work (broken tap, missed threading a couple holes - that kind of stuff).
I share the same casting supplier as TFS - who was also out of stock for an extended time.
Lacking the resources of TFS/Summit Racing, I doubt that I will have new castings anytime soon - if ever.

OK Berry and thanks for the reply. Anything else rattling around the shop? I do have machine shop capability as will as head work experience.

I have 3 stage three Kuntz Edelbrocks, 2 had minor damage on a quench pad and are being repaired, one is new.

They are big valve, big volume, but should breathe deep.  Waiting to get them back on the bench after they are done.

I also have a set of ported TFS, but hanging onto those until my next shipmet comes in.

PM if I can help

We have plenty of the updated BBM heads.  Fifteen pairs with various programs and valve sizes ready for springs.  25 pairs cnc'd ready for finish work, and 75 pairs ready to be cnc'd.
