351c Offenhauser Tunnel Ram With Single and Dual Quad Tops
« on: August 14, 2013, 10:42:55 PM »
Hello All.

I bought this intake (site un-seen), to use on a 351c project.

So when I got it home and took it out of the box I was kinda bummed out, being that the seller made absolutely no mention that it was all windowed out, and cut up like it is.

That being said, obviously this would make is a great candidate to be used on one of Jay's adapters, as there is just the two small pieces of end rail left to remove.

My only real option to be able to use this, is to fabricate a valley plate, a jig to bolt the intake too, and weld the valley back together in it. At this point I would just like to try to get my money back if possible.

I will take $225, plus the shipping for all 3 pieces.

I attached a bunch of pictures.

Mike H.

Hello Cory.

It might.

My concern is that there is very little support / reinforcement on what is left of the front and rear rails, and the Turkey pan adds two more surfaces to seal.

My immediate thought was that it would be a weeper at the front and back of the block,  but I would need to try it to be sure.

Given my luck at such endeavors in the past, I was not very optimistic.

Thanks, Mike H.
