Just curious, if this a factory Ford crankshaft, or an aftermarket crank? A buddy built a FE stroker a while back, not sure if it was a Scat or Eagle kit, but instead of using the OE Ford style crank keys, they had Chevy keys, and when he had to tap the spacer on, it caused the sleeve to crack, (he was not aware of it cracking at the time), and when he started driving the car, it had a timing cover area oil leak, which was caused by the crack. Something to check into, if it is an aftermarket crank, never seen that with a Ford crank.
