Wife catched some northernlight the other night. Was way more when i went to lock up the shop.
So i told her when i came back and she snapped a few photos
When i was a kid and was outside playing we saw a lot, but now i avoid being outside in the winter

Those are great photos. I have seen Northern Lights once here in Northwest Ohio, about 20 years ago. I was driving back from Columbus one night and noticed something strange in the sky. I was driving up I-75 and had to pull over and take it all in for a while. I was just South of Bowling Green, Ohio at the time. North Lights reaching this far south is pretty uncommon. It is a beautiful sight to see.

What you dont see in a photo is, it "dance" around in the skye and change colors
Green, red, purple, and blue its a real show. sometimes when it real intensive
and you are in a real quiet place you can hear like a crackling, sparkling sound
