The only FE in the whole event, that I'm aware of, is Scott Miller and his Cougar. He's been running 9.3-9.2 and is currently in 4th place in his class. The competition just keeps getting stouter, and for his set-up, I think he's about reached the limit while maintaining dependability. He ran a couple of 9.0's in 2019 and came away with the win, but this year, as of today, 8.7 is the leading average. It's a tough class.

I am not sure what is up with the smoke when he launches. Looks like pig rich then clears up down track. Every run i've seen seems to do that but several other cars do as well. Saw a 9.25 yesterday and a 9.30 today.

I talked to him via Instagram and he is fighting traction problems. He is on the right track thanks to some guys he knows. There are some really good suspension guys there.

As far as pig rich part ,Tom I know a few years back that they changed from carbs to fuel injection. I know there once they where having some tuning issues ,but would think that's sorted by now. Scott and his Dad Jack are both good people! I wish them the best!

They are great people! Jack really helped me out. I sold some Cyclone Spoiler II fenders to a guy in Connecticut. So silly west coast me figured since i'm going to Bowling Green Kentucky for Drag Week i'd bring them there and send them off or find someone who could take them to CT. Well the only guys from that area drove their cars down and the fenders hardly fit a 63 Corvette with a roll cage. So Jack being east coast (only a little closer to Hartford than Bowling Green is!) took them for me and the guy in CT did get them. He helped me out big time.

Just saw a 9.08 so anything wrong is pretty minor and they have completed the week. Congrats
