First off. All you peeps going to the FERR have fun and stay safe. :)
We are heading east. As far as you can for a car show on the mainland of North America.
Sherbrook Village Show and Shine. A two day event. It's an annual for us.
Oil check. Good to go.

Made it to the Far East. On the ferry in Country Harbour.
The show was great. More than 200 cars made the trip.
Great weather, hot and sunny.
The car worked great. Three days and two nights about 500 kms on secondary roads. No major highway and max speed is 50 to 90 km. I measured as close as I could and got 11.1 MPG US size.
I seen a really kool option. In a very nice Gal.
The trailer is awesome. The car tows it with ease.

Looks lovely.

That would be 5,900 km or 3,666 miles (458 gallons, or about 40 fuel stops) in old yellow (not yellow anymore).

Of course, why stop there, there are three shows coming up in the next week on The Rock. How could you pass up Jake's Show and Shine Sept. 16th in Dunville? Make it to the most eastern show in NA without an asterisk, that would be the Geraldine Centre Car Show and Bingo (can't win if you don't play) in St. John's.
1969 F100 4WD (It ain't yellow anymore)
445 with BBM heads, Prison Break stroker kit, hydrualic roller cam, T&D rockers, Street Dominator Intake with QFT SS 830.

Paul.

I've been to the Rock a few times. My mom was born there.
It's always an adventure driving around on the Rock.

My wife and I spend a week in Newfoundland in 2019, the year before we moved from BC to Nova Scotia. While on Newfoundland, we went to the car show at Bowring Park in St. Johns., and went to the dragstrip/oval track at Eastbound. Also have met a father and son team from Newfoundland at the dragstrip in Miramichi NB, who have a fleet of cool Fords, including a 9 second 64 Fairlane, and a 7 second ex Pro Stocker Cougar with a 460 based engine with a Liberty 5 speed. And when I took my 428 to Armstrongs Dyno in NS, they had a brand new C&C Boss 429 in the shop, belonged to another guy from Newfoundland. My mother was born is St. Johns, and I have cousins in Mount Pearl, Brigus South, and La Manche Park area.

I have been to Brigus! All over Newfie-land actually and loved it. Really a surprise to see cool old cars there but there are. When we were there we stumbled upon a car show in St Johns just as it was ending, some real nice early Mustangs were just pulling out of the lot.

Hundreds of miles east of Maine!
