Happy Dad's Day!
« on: June 16, 2013, 10:05:10 AM »
Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there...
My son must think I'm crazy; I've got a '63 Galaxie grille, moldings and hubcaps just back from the polishers / anodizers sitting on display on our kitchen table.  Thanks to him and his Mom (my wife) who both put up with my eccentricities!

Hope you all have a memorable day.

Thanks, same to you guys!

Mrs Stang is a librarian and had to work today.  I mowed the lawn, replaced a power door lock actuator in my F250, and came in to home made Chex Mix, curried chicken salad, and broiled brussel sprouts in varying degrees of completion (my three favorites!)

Little do they know I discovered bread pudding in the back of the fridge (#4 favortie)....going to hit the gym before dinner because it's going to be a rough one!

Thanks and back atcha all.
Woke up early this morning to fix the puddle of oil under my truck.
As I was walking to my truck after work last night I noticed a puddle of oil under the front end.
Checked the oil, she's down a quart. Luckily I keep oil with me and filled her back up.
Figured I could get her home watching the gauge. Made it, checked the oil, down a quart. Oh, did I say anything about smoke on the way home.
All gauges good but oil pressure was low ( it's been going down lately, figured it was a good thing that I'm building a new bullet).
Anyway at home crawled under while still running and there is a gusher coming out the sender (yup, still original).
Whew easy fix.
Did it this morning.
Woohoo pressure is back (go figure).
Cleaned up the driveway, jumped in the shower, had breakfast with the family who just got there, then said goodbye, jumped in the truck and came to work with the engine dry as a bone.
It's a good day. :) Yeeeeeeehaw
