Very hard (impossible) to use that single sonic check number to determine wall thickness, but that equates to .148 inches and would be on the thin side of good and much thinner than the C-scratch blocks I see, even though it has 428 water deck passages

Certainly not an original 428, but a good multi-position sonic check mapping the entire block would determine whether it may go to 428 bore
