Head gasket bore size VS compressor ratio
« on: September 07, 2022, 08:19:59 AM »
How much difference to the compression ratio would there be between a steel.shim head gasket that has a 4.400 bore size and .024 compressed thickness  versus a cometic. 027 compressed thickness but 4.0975 bore size have on a .030 over 390 (4.08). Thanks

If the head gasket bores are perfectly round on both, then it will only change about .01 of a point.
