Oil pimp mount bolt size
« on: June 30, 2022, 12:46:21 PM »
Anybody know what size the pump mount bolt's going into the block are. My 5/16 tap will go to the bottom but I can wiggle it a little.
I have a new ARP set but the bolt's are 3/8 inch and to big.
Thanks
Greg

Pump to block are 3/8".  Pickup to pump are 5/16".

     Just to add:  3/8" X 16t , or often referred to as: 3/8" Coarse-Thread"

You may wish to consider that Precision Oil Pumps sells an ARP stud kit to replace the standard cap screws, originally, used by Ford

I wish I would have known that when I ordered my oil Pump from them last month.
I will give them a call and order a stud kit.
Thanks

Would Andy Granatelli in the STP suit be considered an oil pimp?

You win the internet today!   ;D

I personally like the ARP studs vs bolts when pimping my oil pumps.
