I have a clutch pedal assy from a 70 torino , not sure if thats the same for your application?
I have a bellhousing and starter register plate from a 400 , I believe some people use these on 429-460 as well ,
I also have a handful of toploaders , including a big in, big out, close ratio from 69 Torino 428CJ with 69 shifter assy.

...and I thought sourcing all my 66 Galaxie console stuff was a difficult task. I wish you all the luck finding that stuff, sounds like an extremely cool project.

There was a guy near Traverse City, MI named E.J. who was huge into the T-Bird/Cougar platform. You may have some luck looking for him in forums dedicated to those platforms. He may have something, or know where it can be gotten.

Hey thanks guys, I appreciate the replies.
I actually found what I needed brand new, If you can believe that. Modern Driveline makes a pedal for my car that mounts to the factory auto pedal assembly. You just have to trim the brake pedal a bit.
On ebay, there's a company selling all the parts from between the pedal and the clutch arm. Says it's for the 351 Cleveland but I'm confident I can make it work for the 460.
I already have a Toploader with Hurst linkage and a couple bell housings, that may be from a 351M/400 for all I know.
Ordered the pedal today but I'm holding off on the other stuff as I may look into a hydraulic clutch conversion.

Hello Bruce.

I have done this conversion multiple times with factory parts on 72 and 73 Torino's & Montego's.

I have also researched the Modern Driveline pedal / solution.

The issue with using that pedal and a hydraulic setup is that the power brake booster is in the way. You can remove the power booster and run a manual pedal (different pivot location) and the correct manual disc master cylinder, which they did come from the factory with, or install hydro boost in order to make room for the hydraulic components.

I would never go the hydro boost route, and I have converted to manual brakes from power with no issues.

I do currently have a complete 4 speed setup, along with both manual and power brake pedals, and I can send you pictures of both so you can move the pivot on your power pedal when you cut it down, if you choose to go that way.
