Hello...

Looking at my "To Do List" for 2022:

In my Top 3 things ...: Make progress on the 427 stroker.

I visited my heads yesterday -  Survival Motorsports MR, that I've had for a few years now.  We have the valves, some rough porting has been done and need to get them completed.   Ultimately, it will have the Victor (Dominator) single plane on it (I've had for 25 yrs or so), but we plan on running the Shelby Sidewinder on the dyno 1st for comparison. I'm doing this build with my old friend Geoff Mummert - Mummert Machine and Development.  He kind of likes old Ford stuff.

Depending on final flow numbers we'll probably spec a medium profile solid roller for it.  Power to 6.750 and shift at 7,000.
The engine is a .015 over 427 MR with 3.98 428 crank.  My dad's engine from the mid 1970's.

What are my best options on rocker systems ?

Thanks

Individual stands as opposed to the common shaft for FE's ?

I'll look into them, but if T&D makes a shaft rocker system that will certainly do.

I like T&D products. I've run them on the 565 for close to 20 years now.

Yes, individual stands held to a subbar using the head bolts.  That way your stand studs can’t pull out of aluminum heads with spring pressure.  It happens and you don’t want it.

Any solid roller with aluminum heads leaves here with T&D race rockers.

what is the part number for the T&D (paired) race rockers? TKS
it is hard to balance your check book with your testoserone level
Previous FE Cars:   1965 Ford Galaxie 390/4spd then upgraded to 427 sideoiler
1970 Maverick 427 sideoiler.  X Pro Stock Car, previous owner had a cammer in it but that was beyond my budget
Current build in progress 1964 Thunderbolt Clone

Here is a pic of what they look like Things not mentioned here about T&D race set up you need to have the head rocker stands cut down for the base mounting plate to be mounted and i would try and work out what push rod size you want i used 3/8th thick wall ones i had probs with intake clearance milling fixed that but if i had known i would of run 7/16 ones and got offset rockers to fit them Brent may be able to help you more with that stuff. They cost $$$$ but worth it.

you can see the 2 mounting plates in these photos
