Wow! He does a great job.  Doubt if he could do a better one in a modern shop. 

His grounding "cable" was totally unexpected.  I never imagined a man could weld wearing sandals and socks - lol.

I like the little wooden brace from the lathe to the wall.  Balance??  We don't need no stinkin' balance!  ;D ;D

     That is precision "grinding" at it's best. Keep adding sandpaper until you get the size you want.
