Horribly slow loading. In all honestly, I contribute, at least a share of my problems to Apple's update to Big Sur operating system, 12/20. I hope their next version corrects the slow upload problems.

Whatever server it's on, response times are very slow and often time out.  And I'm at a university with a 1G internet feed.  Same as the house, 1G of fiber.

I run a Linux machine for my surfing needs, both for speed and security/privacy, along with script blockers that can assist with load times by eliminating ads and other unwanted content that is often added to sites, and I've noticed a lag here for some time. It isn't horrible, but it is noticeable.

Yes I'm experiencing the same issue.  Page loads take 3 - 5 seconds since the server change.

It's actually caused me to change how I navigate around the site.  I use the "Back" button a lot now to save me having to reload the previous page.

Yep, this forum/site loads waaaay slower than all other sites I visit.

Desktop comp, using Chrome.

Yup, I started doing the same, it saves a bit of time.

It takes a minimum of 7 seconds for each page change in reading for me, and I have gotten to the point I hate to open up the site.  I really prefer Jay's forum, but it takes so much time between pages that I just skip most items anymore.  I tried to load a picture, and got kicked off the site.  Sorry, Jay, but this new site stinks! I even closed my favorite down, cleared the site off my computer, turned off the computer, and then went to the WWW site and re-entered my login.  Still slow!  Joe-JDC

Just a note - this is very likely well outside his control.  And changing hosting companies, migrating application, moving files, etc is a serious pain in the ass.  The problem could well be load on the server holding the site and unless hosting makes changes, the site owner/manager is kinda stuck.  For the times I posted above, we pay GoDaddy about $180/year.

Your connections are fast compared to mine.
When I click on the site it takes me 43 seconds for the page to load.
When I click on a subforum it takes another 30 seconds to load.
After that it seems to work OK.
Not a big problem and I have tried everything short of changing my server's to fix it but nothing works.
does it on all my computers and my phone.
