Do a search.  You will find threads on this particular mount.  Pricy but they work.

I'm not sure how NOS factory stuff compares to that mount cost wise.  You are probably right.  I can go to Rockauto and get aftermarket replacement mounts for like five bucks each.  Sure, NOS is going to be way more expensive, but if he's looking at the eBay mount, he's not going the NOS route.

Gerry do the aftermarket replacements include the brackets that mount to the block? While the small block perches can easily be modified to the big block configuration, the block bracket can be tough to source. That is news that the insulator is available thru rock auto they used to be hard to source also.

If you have a broken motor mount, you need to replace only the insulator.  On the 2nd gen Fairlane (66-71) the insulator bolts directly to the engine.  There is no separate engine plate.  There is an adapter that fits between the insulator and the frame mount.  That's not available anywhere I know of.

The metal bracket that mounts to the block in a mustang are not difficult to find. They are also reposed for $130 for the pair.

The factory setup is two piece. There is the mount (Insulator) and an adapter plate to the block.  I bought the set of all four pieces recently for about $230.  If the frame adapters are 68-70 SB you have to drill a hole to change their angle to match the FE mounts.  The 67 SB frame adapters are drilled the same as the BB.

The other option is the aftermarket style like the OP asked about.  That is a two piece design that gets rid of all three factory pieces and give you a positive retention setup that will keep the mount together under high torque.  The original setup has a mount that uses rubber bonded to metal and if it tears your engine can move freely. You can also adjust the engine mount location fore or aft about 1/4" or so which sometimes can help like with headers and a Borgesen steering box. The down side is they do not dampen vibration as well.  I know some have gone back to the stock setup because they did not like the extra vibration. Guess is a personal preference there.

Regarding RockAuto 67-70 Mustang/Cougar engine mounts just looked on their site. Looked at 68 and 70 Mustang 390 and 428 listings and every mount was wrong.  One was a 302 mount, another was for a T-bird, the other for a truck. Rockauto can be great, but you have to make sure the parts list are correct!

I have the Total Control Products FE mounts that look almost identical to the ones in your eBay link.

They bolted up just fine.  I may be wrong, but it looks like the motor sits ever so slightly lower with these than the stock mounts.

I used their mounts for my '66 Fairlane. I like them a lot. The fit was good. I did make a shim under the driver side mount to level the engine but that may have been an issue with the Fairlane?

Here is a link to their Fairlane mounts.

There is enough relevant info from a Fairlane application and the vendor is the same.

Was installing Rockauto OEM style mounts and the rubber de-laminated from the metal plate as I was readjusting the engine to bolt it in. I would avoid OEM style.

I installed a similar style as the person who started the post and had no problems. Nothing to de-laminate if your foot slips off the clutch.
