I swear, Clevelands, FE's and Lima engines are the best looking engines with a tunnel ram. They just look perfect on them.
And I wouldn't have guessed it, but those factory valve covers look pretty darn good on there.

Like a lot of factory headed combos, it likes 42°.

Definetly impressive Brent imagine with 100 more cubic inches.

I have thought about that, but I've always been an underdog fan.   It's easy to make horsepower with 445 cubes or 482 cubes, but it takes some thinking and tinkering to make big power with smaller displacements.   In addition, it would be hard for those C6 heads to keep up with a much larger engine.

I built my first FE in 2005.  It was a 428 with Stage 1 KC Edelbrock heads, a solid roller, 11:1 compression, and a Tunnel Wedge with two 725 carbs.  It made 533 hp and 472 lb-ft.   I've learned a lot since then.
