I'm planning on it. Unfortunately I've been too busy to even get the car out yet this year, so I'll probably just ride the bike over and camp in the parking lot. If the rain holds off Friday, it should be really good weather for racing.

You taking anything, Royce?

It doesn't seem likely at this point. I had this weekend on my schedule but needed new tires on the trailer and rear tires for the car, neither of which have proven to be available in the last three weeks. Oh well, after missing the entire season of 2020, missing just one race, so far, in 2021 just doesn't have much impact. I should have given more thought to purchasing manufactured goods in the present market.

I went.. about a 3 hr delay in Sat but nice after that.  Turnout less than hoped for I would say... No waiting in the lanes and make as many passes as you want.. All the classes got run my 1 pm on Sunday..  Track is real nice as far as racing surface, but a little funky on how it is laid out.. Y block guys I was with had 3 good days of racing. Ted Eaton ran a 9.01 in his Y Block altered which may have been fast time of the meet... They had some really nice prizes. One of our guys won a $2500 gift cert from Trick Flow..  And he does not own an FE. Another a 500 cert from Micky Thompson tires..  I probably made 10 passes in all and no breakage.

Had a good time, even with the low turn out.  Any 3 days at the track is better then one good day at work!

A friend of mine won the Harland Sharp gift certificate for $1000.

Royce, sad to see the blue Ranchero pitch the driveshaft out Saturday night in the semi finals?  Had to laugh with friends as we said "we didn't know a Y block made enough power to do that?"   Especially at 1/2 track?  I hope it didn't hurt the car too much!
