Cool project Brent. Since nobody else asked on any of the forums you posted on this, I was wondering why you didn't cross bolt the block? At that power and RPM level you mentioned, it would be a good idea I think. I never did cross bolt my 428 that I abused for years, but should have. I have a 427 block with billet caps now, so mute point for me.
I know the fill helps, and lite weight pistons/rods, internal balance, etc, but... wondering what your reasoning is on this.
