Thanks Brent! I'm still learning how a hydraulic roller acts compared to a flat tappet.  When I read the specs of a flat tappet I have general idea of the range of power and size.  I'm kinda lost on rollers as I've never been around one or heard one in an FE to get a idea. Dont really know how mild one is or how streetable it is by looking at the specs.

They behave similarly.....the same cam characteristics do the same things between flat tappets and rollers.  However, the big difference with a roller, especially a hydraulic roller, is that there's a very wide variation in lobe aggression.  An aggressive hydraulic roller lobe, especially with heavy valvetrain components, will end up floating the valves early, or petering out at a lower rpm.  The direct polar opposite of that is an overly lazy camshaft, which may help pump gas toleration, etc., but doesn't make horsepower.   Depending on the entire valvetrain combination, there's a sweet spot in lobe design for each combo.

I like how they trimmed the timing pointer.

I wonder if they installed the distributor when installing the intake?
