ARP Rocker Shaft Stud Length with Edelbrock heads.
« on: August 03, 2019, 07:59:34 AM »
I installed the ARP rocker studs that I was running with my iron heads. The tapered stud that is specific to the oiling that has a flange stop above the threads seats before the flange seats against the head.
Is this a concern, or run it as is? It seems to be about .250 taller than the other studs.

That stud is shorter for aluminum heads, if you have enough threads it should be fine but typically you match the studs to the type of head
