Scat v RPM
Availability (typical wait time)
Scat $ v RPM $ + touch up
best source.  Can't find price on scat, best price on RPM looks to be directly from them.

An RPM crank, even cleaned up, will be cheaper than a Scat.

110% correct.

And the Scat would still be nicer....

But Scat does not make the 3.98 or the 4.375 in a catalog version.  Only 4.125 or 4.250

Scat will cut you other sizes from a semi-finished forging, but at closer to 2 grand...

I'll be useing 6.700 rods. Will this limit me to  4.25 crank max ? Would the 4.375 have to use a 6.800 to get piston to crank clearance ?

You can use a 4.375 crank with a 6.700 rod.  It uses a custom 1.260" compression height piston.  It will clear the counterweights just fine.
