FE66COMET, if you are still looking for strut rods I may have info to help you out. Street or Tracks strut rods for '67 Mustangs (also sold by Opentracker) are straight and are direct fit for the '66-'67 Fairlanes and Comets. The hockey stick angled LCA end pieces are for '68 and up. I do not know if there is any difference in the LCA's other than 2 holes vs 4 holes where the strut rods attach but if you are using the '68 and later LCA with only 2 holes then it seems you must also use the '68 and later strut rods. Street or Tracks website has the info that you need for part number and fitment.

Edit: after clicking post I noted that this was from a year ago, not last month, so probably not relevant. May be useful information though should someone else be researching so I will leave it.

I would recommend you strongly look at the total control products front end , upper and lower control arms and coil over conversion with your power rack @ pinion conversion .. One has to think that Carroll Shelby unlimited budget , he could have used any setup on his continuation cars .. but he used the total control stuff , and was a firm on leaving shock towers in the cars , trim if you want butt leave them in .....
