I think the only issue might be the location of the timing marks on the balancer; I'd compare the two and adjust the timing pointer if there were any differences. Otherwise, it's pretty much a straight swap.
Jay, well you hit it. The timing marks are off. Comparing it to a few other balancers I have, the timing marks are about 20 degrees off. So what adjustments must I make? I have the 427 screw into the timing cover pointer on with my Professional Products balancer. This is a new area for me so I'm not sure of the easiest way to get a pointer lined up?
Also, the pulley bolt pattern is different, it's a larger B.C. Is this common with non-OEM balancers?

When a number of you mention to drill the mounting holes over size and the pulley will locate in the register of the balancer, where is the register? The front of the balancer is flat see picture below)? Maybe I need to find some of my old pullies to fit it up before I pull the one from the engine.
