Got to be a big 3D printer I imagine. Did the printed buck have openings so you could check the workpiece from the back?
I have seen video of the CNC sheet metal forming. Pretty amazing.

Did you buy the rocker panels from Auto Metal Direct?

Looks good. How do you get from scan to metal? Are you making wood bucks?

Never noticed his bore gauge was not .0001" just assumed it was from the numbers he was calling out.
I don't have knowledge of the honing process, but Daniel's goal was to bring the block side saddles to the same height/centerline. It did not appear that he enlarged the horizontal bore diameter any.

No pressure from this side. I am the last person to be able to preach on the progress of the car project!

Mike,
I see you're still active here. What up with the '62 Gal?

I suggest adding more info as there were different styles 1963-68 by Ford, not to mention aftermarket.

How's the weather this year?

Depends. A winter driven car will show some rust due to the road salt that is used to melt snow/ice. Even after 5 years there will be some signs on the chassis/suspension. Probably not much but more than a SW guy like you is used to seeing. Is the car a daily commuter? Garaged nightly? Can somebody put it on a lift and take a hard look at it?

That's cool. So they raced on Saturday? The webcam at the track was down so I wasn't able to remotely monitor what was going on.
The PA DOT webcams looked pretty wet Saturday so thought maybe BSD would use the Sunday rain date.

Not driven in 5 years? That's kind of a shame. You can see from the underside shots that she is not a concours restoration.

Float adjusters? The nuts look thick to me. They are probably contacting the bottom of the air cleaner.

Diogenes,
It started as a factory built 427 car, but not a lightweight. Stories get told, owners change, facts fade.

Diogenes,
No 'factory' lightweights in 1965-66. Ford X garage built a 1965 Galaxie with glass nose but it was modified to run in B/FX, not S/S. This was The "Quiet One" sponsored by Bob Ford.
