The "Snake Covers Add To The Look, But The Finned Ones Are Just As Nice In My Opinion. The Spacers Are Hardly Noticable. He Makes These In Various Thickness' These Are !" Thick

We Used Studs And 12 Point Nuts To Secure The Spacers To The Heads/Intake, Using Sealer Between The Two.

They Will Not Clear. However, As Seen In The Attatched Photo, Medice Makes Some Great Valve Cover Spacers That Will Gain You The Clearance You Need To Use The Covers That You Want. We Went The Extra Mile And Machined These Out So They Become Permanently Mounted To The Head And Intake When The Valve Covers Are Removed. Worked Out Nicely. Contact Dan Medice To Buy A Set Directly From Him And Save The E Bay Hassles.

There Are Many Ways To Skin A Cat...Since You Are Using A Decent Block To Begin With, Why Not Do It In A Proven Way? Yes, One Of These Girdles Is A Bunch Of Work, But It Was Proven To Hold 761 HP On A Factory "S" Scratch 428 Block. (Yes, We Converted It To Screw In Core Plugs As Well, Just A Bit Stiffer, And Cooler, Than Brass) Not Everyone Has The Luxury Of Having A Factory Cast 428 Block Like Mine Was Either, And, While We Could Have Used A Set Of Aftermarket Caps, I Decided To Go The Extra Mile And Go With A Girdle. The Results Spoke For Themselves. Your  Block Will Thank You For It, Your Machinist, Will Likely Come Up With A Dozen Reasons As To Why, "It Cant Be Done"... Every Bit As Important, Is The Precision Balancing Of The Rotating Assembly. You Will See In The Photo That We Did A "No Holes Balance" On My Build, Which Had Many Benefits As Well. As I Said, There Are Many Ways To Skin A Cat, But You Only Get To Do So Once, Be Sure And Do It Right.

carb is List-6444 may or may not be original carb, converted to manual choke. not stuck.
plugs all look ok, with exception of cylinder #6, which had some oil on it, but not crusty or sludged up.
had it running briefly in the car before it was removed.

It Was A Sucessful Event, And I'm Glad I Got A Chance To Meet You And View The Products You Are Making Available To The FE Community. As You Soon Found Out, It Is A Brotherhood, And There Are No Strangers. I Wish You Luck With Your Line Of Cylinder Heads. I Was Especially Impressed With The Tunnel Port Heads. A Lot Of Potential There! Keep Up The Good Work, And Will See You Next Year!

Thanks, It Was A Lot Of Fun, and The Results Did Not Dissappoint. Its New Owner Doesnt Live That Far away, And Has Some Great Plans For It, So If Im Lucky, I Will Get To Experience Its Sound And Power At Least One More Time.

Yes, It Was A "No Holes Balance"  It Is One Of His Specialties, And The Engine Was Glass Smooth. Was Fortunate To Be Able To Be In Pennsylvania Both Times We Dynoed It. Truly Amazing What A Difference The Details Make! It Was A Privilege To Have Him Put The Time Into The Build, And Work With Him On It.I Was Extremely Happy With The Results.                                                                                                                                                                Yes, It Went To A Great Home!

Due To Cancer Diagnosis, And Treatments Last October, Till Next Monday, I Regrettably Have Decided To See If Someone Is Up For Buying A "Ready To Go", Very Strong 428/463 Stroker. It Was Built By One Of The Best, And The Build Was Well Documented. 761 HP IS Hard To Argue With. It Is Still In The Plastic Shrink Wrap From The Dyno Session And Transporting It Home From Beaver Springs FE Race And Reunion Last September. I Have Had To Accept That Time, And Finances Are Not Going To Allow Me To Put Together Another Galaxie Like The One It Was Intended For. It Needs A Great Home, And For Someone To Further Its Noteriety. Click On The Link Below, Or Read About It In The "Dyno Results" Write Up In The "Technical" Section. It Is Ready To Go, and Comes Complete From Airfilter To Oil Pan, Just as It Was Ran And Dyno'd Shipping Is Out Of The Question. Will Require Someone Picking It Up, Or I Can Deliver It To Muncie In May, Or Beaver Springs In May Or September. Please Send Me A Message, And We Can Exchange Phone Numbers To Possibly Make A Deal. If You Are Seriously Interested, And Would Like To Have A Strong, Completed Engine With Documented Results Immediately, Or Wait For Parts, Machine Shops, Etc. For 10 Years And Then MAYBE Have Something Comparable, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE!  Do Some Math On The Parts And Machine Costs That Is In This, And Come Up With A Number Thats At Least 80% Of That. Thats The Asking Price.

Graph, Showing No RPM Or HP "Fall Off" Above 6200 RPM.  There Is More Potential To Be Had, This Is Just Where I Ran Out Of Time And Money. The Smaller Numbers/Graph Was The Same Engine, Before Teardown And Having Lifter Bore Correction And Roller Cam Bearings Installed, Which Woke It Up A Bit More Than The Already Respectable Numbers. My Only Regret With The Build, And These Heads Was That I Used The Premium (Full Roler) Harlan Sharp Rocker System With Them (Changed The Adjusters To Use Ball/Ball Pushrods, And Oil Through Them) I Didnt Want To Cut The Heads Up For The Much Better T&D Rocker System., Which Was The Only Choice For An Upgrade At The Time Of The Build. Within A Month Of My Engine Being Finished, And Dyno'd, They Came Out With The TFS Specific Rocker System For These Heads. Certainly Would Have Rather Used Them. Demand Is Definately There For Hi-Fi FE Parts. Still A Lot To Be Said For The Iron Heads, But For The Money, The TFS Heads Can't Be Beat.

Here Are Some Documented Results With Trick Flow Heads.
These Charts And Graphs Are From My 428/463, Using TFS Heads. "S" Code 428 Block , A Scat Forged 4.25 Crank, Mahle Pistons, Molnar Rods, A Custom Solid Roller Cam, And Lots Of Attention From A Master Engine Machinist And Builder. Either Way You Decide To Go, Its Great That There Are Options To Help Make An FE Stronger Today Than Ever. A Big Shout Out Of Appreciation To All Those Who Make This Engine Family Their Passion, And Work Relentlessly To Continue Improving One Of Fords Greatest Engines.
