looks good, but quite expensive:) you're right, long tube headers will be the best.

damn, i found out that my 2V 390 got a lower compression (9,5:1) than the 4V model (10,5:1)... so im really undecided if its worth to hot up this engine... maybe i should cruise it while i fully build up an really hot engine and after finishing i could swap the engine in the car. especcially to keep the historic shape.. (also important for german historic regeitration)

-are there any posts about "frame off" engine building? including pictures and specification?
-guess about the full costs of an project like this... plus 30% cause of german location^^

it really looks like it wont fit... but i aint got a chance to try it... will see. first step is done: its registered now. i guess you wont believe, but this was the first problem, cause of the small numberplates and the import status. :-X :-X

uhhh im really interested in the book, but honestly, over 30 bucks for shipping  :o
but you really got my respect for the book. seems to be really professional!

so maybe some steeltube headers are available at the german aftermarket.... dont believe that hi perf. headers are available...

hey folks,

I was one step away from buying an old header of a mustang 67' for my 390. fortunately I a look under my hood yesterday and recognized theres a beam freakin tight to my stock headers :(

So my question is:

anybody knows which headers will fit into my car?

wanna improve my flow because I read about worse powerloss cause of my mean stock headers...
second question is how much HP improvement I could expect from the swap?

lateron i could post a picture...

heres the part i wanna install : https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/ford-mustang-1967-auspuffkruemmer-fuer-390-bigblock/532334745-223-17192
