I can't find .100 longer valves for a set of trick flow 11r heads for a 363 build
does anyone know how much custom SS valves cost and how long turn around is?

It's a 66 trans with a 68 valve body
all the ones he shows are for 70 and up
i got the only 68 he had

no , it's a drag car , i got a 68 stage 4 broader valve body , worked great , switched intake and now it wont hold 2nd gear , with shifter in 2nd , it randomly shifts into 3rd
vacuum signal is close between the 2 intakes
i cant figure out why it's doing this

i have c4 that wont hold 2nd gear during a burnout, shift 1-2 and it shifts to 3rd very fast on it's own, with selector in 2nd
What does the vacuum modulator do?
i changed from dual plane air gap to a funnel web , now i have this issue
shifts on it's own into 3rd going down track randomly

Ok , This isnt good , did a compression test again and #8 cyl , filled the hose and gauge with gas

Have the timing chain in
set the timing , its a locked out duraspark
runs great at 30 degrees
whenever i hit the throttle it back fires thru the carb
any ideas?

No the rotor isnt to close ,Just pulled the timing cover , almost an inch play on the slack side of the chain
Ordering a new 1 now

Yes it was the tab on the inside on the duraspark  rotor
Checked the compression  all between 130-150
I bought the car , didnt build the engine myself
reset the distributor , Hope thats the problem

Pulled the distributor , pin and gear are all good
gong to have to pull the timing cover, grr
Jay , hope you don't mind me asking non-fe questions here , this is the only site , that isn't full of people who "think" they know what they are doing
Everyone here seems very knowledgeable and helpful
Some day when funds allow the 302 will be pulled for a stroker FE in this
