Title: Question to you Cammer guys
Post by: 428kidd on January 05, 2021, 09:29:47 AM
On the factory heads I remember there being a stamping like a set of initials maybe and a number. I know the number was the sequence of the build , but wat was the letters? Seems like it was inside a circle or something to that effect? Thanks Lance

The original heads were marked with a small "PB" surrounded by an oval.  This mark appeared next to the consecutive serial number of the head, and was made by the company who machined the heads.  The name escapes me at the moment, but it was something "Boring".  Paragon Boring maybe?

Here’s a link to one of the times the “PB” stamping came up here, the other time was on Tunnel Port heads.

+1 I heard that from Bruce Sizemore who had the "Canadian heads" machined there.

Paramount Bore also did the Trans Am Boss 302 heads. Some Tunnel Port 302s as well.
