Ford came out with a book/brochure what ever with
sugested modifications on the FE i think swaping from stock
four barrel to a 735 gave 17 hp so from two barrel to better intake
and a four barrel will give you more
There was a 10,5 to one 2V engine with i think 280 hp.
And the 10.5 to one 4V was 315 hp i think they have the same cam.
So 35 hp and then if you go bigger carb and say a Edelbrock performer rpm
will give you maby 20 more.....sounds optimistic to me

but......
And there was also a low comp 2v with 265 hp the hp gains from changing carb
and intake would bee about the same
And dont run the stock 2V aircleaner after the carb swap. I tried that on my Galaxie
And with an open aircleaner you could realy feel the diference
