Pretty sure that I have an Accel dual point distributor for a FE. I will double check tomorrow. It didn`t have the tach drive, but had the unmachined provision in the body for it.

FASTlane, sorry for taking so long, but i did find my Accel dual point FE distributor , but the only number that I can read on the tag is stamped "42327". There may have been another number inked on it before, but it is not visible. This is the earlier style, with a 1 piece casting that uses Chevy externally adjustable points, with rubber seals where the Allen wrench goes for adjusting dwell. I know that there was a different , later version, with a 2 piece cast body, that was screwed together, and usually had a shiner finish. I have never figured out how to post photos from my cell phone onto this site, but is still interested, I could send you a couple of photos of the distributor on facebook or a text message .
