ARP rocker stud torque
« on: February 08, 2025, 09:39:10 AM »
Despite my meticulous record keeping methods (huh?) I cannot find the data slip for my ARP rocker mounting studs. Not wanting to guess at it, someone please chime in with the torque spec for said studs. Thanks.

I have always done them to 50 lbs. That is higher than the pdf indicates.

Yep, from the installation instruction sheet:  "Once the rocker shaft is pulled down into place, tighten the nuts to 35 ft-lbs if using ARP assembly lubricant or 40-45 ft-lbs if using engine oil".

I'd recommend pretty much sticking to this recommendation.   :)
