2024 Fe reunion

So I just got everything put away from the reunion. As most of you know I was having tranny problems and I’m still having tranny problems but the car was good enough to get me to the finals of COOL FE. I put that in capitals because I’m usually in HOT FE but because of my tranny I’m over a tenth off on my 60 ft times. I would like to say the car was the problem but I red lighted and nobody to blame but myself. We ran 1/8 mile because of the rain Saturday which was probably the reason for the smaller car count. Mike and his crew at the track got everything up and running quickly. Got to meet a few more people especially Rory and his beautiful Canadian Meteor. The weekend wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t have any problems so while I was making a jet change had a transfer tube gasket go bad but Mike Weaks had won which he gave me. When I went to put throttle rod back on noticed the threaded part broke so it was the mad rush to get it fixed and as usual there was no shortage of help. Gotta love the commradere at the track. Got it fixed my daughter ran over to swap meet and somehow had the same rod. Just a thanks to all for there help especially my pit crew my dad and daughter Noelle and Harry came down again to help. He always says I don’t do much but always seems to have one or two good ideas. Well that’s it hope everybody else had a good time.

That's cool. So they raced on Saturday? The webcam at the track was down so I wasn't able to remotely monitor what was going on.
The PA DOT webcams looked pretty wet Saturday so thought maybe BSD would use the Sunday rain date.

We also had a great time at the FE reunion. We met several guys along with Rory and got to watch him jam some gears in his cool 59. I tried to catch you, Stangman, and Don Fotti but both of you were making passes each time we strolled by. Your car sounds great and looked plenty fast to me. It was a long trip but definitely worthwhile.
