The tubes sticking up are the shock mount they will be shortened about 4-5 inches
The hoses are temporarely for the air bags. so we can roll it in and out and adjust the ride height
Today we are building new innerfenders and patching up some extra holes in the firewall
I think this engine bay would swallow all engines ford have to offer

That steering shaft and where it ties into the rack seems like thats going to make headers a real nightmare......

Some work but not a complete nightmare have to route two tubes on each side of steering shaft

What was the factor in picking the jag front end? looks like it will have no towers so headers may not be that bad as it looks right now

A completly worn out drumbrake stock suspension,
and making room for a 400 cleveland with headers.
The jag gave us power rack and pinion, big discbrakes
and cheap parts. I dont think he have 700$ invested
in the completly rebuilt front suspension
It gave us plenty of room for headers, pass side is 70s F250 4WD
i think it was. Hansen racing had them on sale, so we bought them
way cheaper than a weldup kit. Driver side need more work though.

The wooden spacers and the all threads are only mock up acessories.
Stepson young as he is aimed for a loooow ride. Untill i pointed out
its better to have room for an aircleaner than being able to lift the frontwheels
of the ground
