what application is the engine in and used for? Big or small car, truck, dragster on the weekends or street racing ? What made the other cam seem too big ?

Maybe Uncle Tony needs to talk to Pat Austin about them B429 and why they quit racing?
Tony knows his Mopars but he is about 50 percent on other makes, he did call out the "black ghost" hemi Challenger as a phony Detroit street racer that ended up the kid made up the phony story about street racing but only admitted it after it brought big money on Barrett Jackson

FE 4.63 bore center, 426 is 4.80 bore center and BBC is 4.84 bore center ... 429-460 is 4.90 bore center, more room for cylinder wall and main saddles the further apart the centers are

10.70 at 105 mph ? That’s either a good et for that mph or a bad mph that et

It looks like it’s not designed like a normal FE head, the intake doesn’t make up part of the valve cover flange.

I guess I should have been more picky on my “wedge” comment.  That’s essentially like a BBC or BBF head on an FE block, right?

Brent it's like those SBF heads Kaase had (P38?) where the intake valve lays over sideways ,

They do make a bunch of different plate sizes, idle feeds and main feed sizes if you know what you need , keep fuel under 5 psi fuel pressure for side pivot bowls . I do like the vacuum secondary unit but have only used them on single four barrel carburetor applications and it is a quick easy adjustment

Any pictures of the Tunnel Port heads ?

I didn't make it but stayed glued to the Facebook group and watched all the videos, looked like a great time had by all

a lot of people take one or two leaf springs out up front depending how light the front end is. FE is really not that heavy

I like Dan Williams myself, I’m not sure but maybe 20 to 25 attempts I gave up on Kees , DW answered the phone first try

we put 4K miles on the full synthetic too, lack of oil changes ruin engines

Kevin , are the headers actually touching the filter ? Looks really tight, my 63 Fairlane with Crites has about 1/8th clearance all the way down and yours looks tighter
