My local track prep is inconsistent. I have 9x29.5 mickeys 3056st sometimes I hook sometimes I dont.This a a 460 based 502 c-6 loosened convertor went to a 3.70 from a 4.10 .Tried every setting on my cal tracs new hoosiers new mickeys both spun hoosier has a 10" with 11.00 section width #18158 curious if you all think this would work .Doug

This one came out of a 66 bird .It has c6ae-r heads std. bore and crank.Doesnt appear to have been into except for intake gaskets .Not rusty it has been inside forever .I had it running before I pulled it out. $1900 I have a clean set of c4 heads available if you dont like the c6s. Lots of other 390 and 428 cranks and rods Aluminum intakes available .Shipping would be expensive so come see me and I will show you my old mercurys and fords .Call 678 603 8400 Doug

If anyone has a suggestion for a smaller starter it will help me out .I had to remove my c-6 due to a leak .Well anyone that has a 70s era truck with headers you know how tight a stock starter is with headers .I dropped my headers and after turning the starter got both out . Just curious if there is a smaller starter that would make this job easier .I believe these are Flo Tech headers and my starter is a factory reman .Thanks all Doug

My 73 f250 had rust in the roof of the cab from what others tell me this is common .I found one in a salvage yard near me but I decided not to use it .I cut it below the bottom of the rear window it is in pretty good shape I will take $200 for it you must come pick it up though .For the same truck the stainless trim that goes in the rubber windshield seal it is in really good condition $200 .I am located in middle Ga. I have a good used set of stock rocker arms with stands springs and all the other small parts needed to put onto a set of shafts .I miced them against a new sealed power shaft and they had .002 clearance $35 plus shipping .New valve guides for 3/8" stems I bought them from Blair and paid $70-$80 with the shipping .I will take $45 plus shipping .Located in Ga. just call if you like 678 603 8400 Doug .Lots of other fe and c-6 parts available

This is a good buildable core that needs a valve body .It is for a console shift it has the correct lever for a console shift .It also has the hard and wide band that you could send out for the friction lining to be replaced $100 I also have a rebuilt tci convertor 2800 stall I will sell with this c-6 $200 .This came out of a 1966 mercury comet . FE Technical Forum / Picked up a Brawler (A carburetor not a fighter)

I have been needing a new carb. for my 390 powered f250 truck .Looking into these brawler series from Holley .They come in several sizes and vacuum or mechanical secondary.I picked out a simple 600 cfm vacuum secondary. It looks like what it is a cheap Holley it has sight windows for your fuel level setting a kick down lever for the transmission and several vacuum ports .With some fine tuning of the idle screws accelerator pump and float level it has performed well so far . Somehow I don't believe this would be a good carb. for an engine with lots of cam or expecting the most hp from your engine .I could be wrong about that and most looking for big hp numbers aren't going with a cheap carb any way .For a mild engine like mine it has worked out alright .Doug 8)
