Since I pestered you before about paint I'll ask:
What formula gold did you use on the valve covers?

I'm not certain what the color mix is in the gold paint. We have a friend that is a painter and I dropped them off with him and told him to paint them "Castilian Gold". He took it from there.

Royce, do you have a need for some 65 Galaxie trim? I have a grille and rocker mouldings that I have been tripping over. Also have red bench seat upholstery. I would make you a screaming deal on any of it.

Joe, I have looked into this quite a bit. Not really because I plan to use it in anything, but more because of intrigue and learning.

Here's where I stand: If I were to run E-85 I don't believe I'd buy pump E-85. I would be sourcing it through Ignite Racing Fuel or similar. This is because the pump fuel seems to gum up and after sitting for the offseason would require at bare minimum the carb to be cleaned up. Ignite claims that their fuel wont do this. The bad part is this would kind of take the streetability out of the car unless you want to drive around with a jug of it in your trunk.

We got the Mustang put on my friends chassis dyno this weekend. I wanted to get everything tested out before we take the car out to a track, trying to build confidence in the car. Everything checked out well!

The torque converter didn't seem to love the load situation the rollers were giving it. We ran the car up to 6000 a couple times in 3rd gear but the dyno curve didn't make any sense. It pretty much went up to 340hp at 2500 rpm and completely flatlined. After talking with a couple people yesterday, I feel like I should have known better. Running a high stall torque converter on the rollers doesn't give great results. Really need a lock up converter to make that work. Getting dyno numbers wasn't the goal of the mission anyhow, this was more of a functionality test.

I didn't get any videos of running the car up to 6000. Wish we would have, but in the moment the last thing you're thinking of is for someone to start their camera.

I have info on our website page. This stuff is a tad outdated, but it'll give you an idea. Once we get these heads worked through I'm going to completely refresh all this info so it is as accurate as possible. That's just the nature of doing some design tweaking as we have worked through the process.

We 3D printed an intake port with the pushrod tube in the port to simulate the affect of the tube in the way. So the port design we went with factors that in. It's not as big of a cfm loss on the flow bench as you might expect.
