The C6 speedo gear on the output shaft is not removable.
The teeth are rolled into the shaft itself.
Shafts were made with 6-7-8-9 teeth for the speedo.
To change the output shaft you need to remove and dis-assemble the trans.
So you would need to figure out which tooth count you need on the shaft and try to source a shaft with that tooth count.
Then take the trans apart to change it.
I don't know of a chart to find tooth counts.
You might get "close" just changing the driven cable gear. Thanks I will experiment I found a 16 driven gear.
