This was kinda amusing.  I was shooting a target at 50 yards with a .22 and had to stop to chase a deer away.  You can see the deer near the target:

This is 1727 Annie .22  that uses a Fortner straight pull action like the ones they use in the biathlon competitions.

Very nice, Earl. I'm pretty sure we would get along good ;D

2 miles to the mailbox? Sounds like my kind of place. And I use the same Magpul buttstocks, along with a few of their other pieces. Good company, good products.

Yup,  the UBR stock is nice since it's solid and the PRS is good for bench work.  They're coming out with a cheaper PRS Lite soon.  Reloading and guns are a great hobby for an old retired fart like me.  Keeps me busy. I'm too damn old to be crawling around under cars wrestling with a trans or center section.  LOL. The best part though is I can go to the nearby range and get my testing done in under an hour and head home unlike going to the track and wasting a whole day waiting for hours in-between passes.  But it seems like you can spend just as much on gun stuff as you can on cars.   :)

An extremely accurate statement!

Too many damn hobbies, not enough time....or money  ::)
